Privacy Policy
Effective from: 6 November 2026
Offers Calendars is a trading name of Octarine Studio, a sole trader based in England. This policy explains how we use personal information when you visit our website or use the service.
Information we use
We use account details such as your name and email address to provide sign-in, manage teams and invitations, and communicate about your account. If you buy a publishing entitlement, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive transaction and billing status information; payment card details are handled by Stripe under its own privacy information.
We use essential session and security cookies to operate the site and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Calendar engagement reports
We count published calendar views, door opens, offer-link clicks, successful code copies and requests for an Add to calendar feed to provide reports to the business running the calendar. Feed requests can include repeat refreshes by calendar apps and are not a count of distinct people who subscribed; calendar providers do not tell us who has added a feed. Event records contain the calendar, event type, offer number where relevant, whether the calendar was embedded, a randomly generated event identifier, a reporting date and a server timestamp. We do not put visitor email addresses, IP addresses, user agents, offer codes or browsing histories into these reporting records, and do not use analytics cookies or device storage for this reporting. Events are retained for 90 days, with older records removed daily. Hosting and security systems may separately process technical connection data in routine logs and for rate limiting.
We use this limited reporting to provide and improve the calendar service and its reports. Where an event record is personal data, our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating the service and giving calendar owners basic engagement information; we balance this against visitors' interests by avoiding visitor profiles and persistent identifiers, limiting the fields collected and deleting events after 90 days. You can object to this processing by contacting us below. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for in-app engagement reporting. This reporting does not store information on or read information from your device. A business embedding its calendar may separately enable forwarding engagement events to its own website tracking tools; it is responsible for its own privacy information and any consent required for those tools. Offers Calendar does not automatically load Google Analytics or Meta advertising scripts.
Connected services and tracking
A team may connect its own Shopify store to search its product catalogue and use supported Shopify features. When a team connects a store, we receive the store domain and authorization details, including encrypted access and refresh tokens and the permissions granted. We use these to make the requests the team asks for, such as retrieving product titles and online-store links. If a product is added to a calendar, its selected details are stored as calendar content. For calendar email signups, the email address a visitor submits with consent is sent to the team's configured Shopify or Klaviyo destination. Offers Calendars does not retain that address in its engagement reports. The team chooses the destination and is responsible for explaining that processing to visitors and obtaining any consent required for its marketing. We do not receive Shopify customer or order data for product search. Disconnecting a store stops future access and clears its tokens; basic connection records, such as the store domain and disconnection time, may remain in our records.
A team may connect its own Klaviyo account as an email-signup destination. We receive its account connection details and the list selected by the team, and use these only to deliver signups visitors submit. Klaviyo processes the submitted email under its own terms and privacy information and the team's instructions.
An embedded calendar can optionally forward engagement events to the business's website through its Google Tag Manager data layer. This is disabled unless the business enables it. Offers Calendars does not automatically load Google Analytics or Meta advertising scripts or set their cookies on a visitor's device. If the business routes events to those or other providers, it is responsible for its privacy information and for obtaining any consent required before enabling non-essential tracking. Providers may receive event names and calendar or offer identifiers, as well as technical data collected by their own scripts.
Why we use it
We use information to provide and secure the service, administer accounts and purchases, respond to requests, meet legal obligations, and protect our legitimate business interests. We keep information only as long as needed for these purposes and legal record keeping.
Who receives information
Information may be processed by our hosting, authentication, email and payment providers to operate the service. When a team connects a third-party account or enables tracking, information may also be sent to the provider selected by that team, such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google or Meta. Those providers may process the information under their own terms and privacy information, and may process it outside the UK. We do not sell personal information. Where a provider processes personal information outside the UK, we use an applicable transfer safeguard where required.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us using the address below to make a request.
